Rin Tin Tin and the Wild Stallion

Rin tin tin

Jerry shared this one with me and it brought back so many memories. Some of you, like myself, will remember Sundays as the day with no cartoons on. Before church, I would wake up early, slip downstairs and watch “re-runs” that would air before sports would dominate the afternoon. I loved watching old westerns and comedies. I am so glad Jerry shared this with me.

yes, i remember…those were the days!!!! oh how i miss the westerns. now you only see them on re-runs…no new ones that you can look forward to seeing on certain days/nites. the best i can come up with lately is ‘HELL ON WHEELS”…and then it only shows for about 10 short weeks before its replaced with something else for 10 weeks. i anticipate the next 10 wks….hopefully they won’t cancel it for a dumb ‘reality’ show!
Rin Tin Tin, Fury, Flicka, Lone Ranger, Sky King, Roy Rogers, movies by my hero John Wayne…those were the days!!!!!!!!!

What a great old movie. Thanks for posting. I wonder how the stallions were trained and if the herd was really wild?

When Rip said Chief the stallion is a great leader like Cochise it made me think too bad there are no great leaders like that today.

I always thought the Black Stallion was played by Fury, another favorite of mine.
