April

April is a good pasture horse who gets along better with other horses than people. She is being re-evaluated as she previously had weight gain issues but has done well on hay for some time now. April needs training from ground manners on – she has trouble reading what a person wants from her. Our trainer says she is very sweet and willing. She accepted a rider with a bit but chomped at it. You can catch her in the pasture with a treat. She leads well, stands tied and stands for the farrier. With the right experienced trainer, April could reach her full potential in her forever home.
