Tandy is a pretty big girl at 15.1hh. She is a pretty paint and has been lunged in both directions at a walk and trot. She is still a bit difficult to catch at times though. We know she has been ridden in the past but she will need to be retrained ideally using gentle positive reinforcement techniques to help her feel safe and build confidence. We know she was being worked with on leading and on personal space and would pick up all 4 feet and walk through stocks willingly. She has also been saddled and cinched with a bareback pad twice now and was ridden twice in a western saddle briefly. However, she has a strong startle reflex and when she feels threatened she becomes overstimulated and may push through people to get to a place where she feels safer. If you have a calm disposition and are an experienced rider, consider coming out to meet Tandy. She is a beautiful gal with a lot of potential and seems to genuinely want to trust people.
