A very special Christmas present

Fiesty - adoptable horse

Christmas is the time of year when the family gathers to enjoy the spirit of the season. We share food made from recipes passed down from generation to generation. Pretty bows adorn presents under the Christmas tree. Choirs from the church are singing carols. The children are all dreaming about the gifts Santa will bring the night of Christmas Eve. Here at the Habitat for Horses ranch the horses are dreaming too. Their wish is for a home – for a family – they can call their own. What a special Christmas present! To open your hearts, your family to the love of a horse, burro or mini. Yes, you do need to be able to care, feed, and keep a horse. Think of what lessons your children will learn – values that will last a life time.

If you live in the South East Texas area, and want to share your home with a horse rescued from a life of abuse and neglect – give us a call at 409-935-0277, 8:00am – 4:00pm Central Time, Monday – Friday to find out more.

Take a look at Fiesty. He is one of our horses dreaming of his forever home.

He is a 14 year old gelding, that is green broke and needs a rider with some experience.
