Our Philosophy
We believe that since humans domesticated horses we must take full responsibility for their life. To subject a horse to both physical and mental abuse, either in some forgotten pasture or on the slaughterhouse floor, is an affront to the sanctity of life. Learn more >>

Facilities
Habitat for Horses is located on a 27 acre ranch in Galveston County, Texas. Midway between the booming economy of NASA at Clear Lake and the tourist town of Galveston, the local area is predominately rural, with a large population of horses. Learn more >>
