What to Expect In the last five years we've had over 350 horses pass through our gates. At times, over 90 lived at the ranch. During other times we've had as few as 12. Every single day of those five years, since 1998, we've fed, scooped poop, medicated, cleaned hooves and done the hundreds of things necessary to maintain their existence.
Here's where you'll find the diary of our day-to-day drama. You'll hear about the endless chores on blazing hot days and freezing winter mornings. You'll live through the investigations, hear the complaints, feel the tears of the volunteers, and witness the stories behind the scenes.
This is what your money is doing, where it's spent, who gets most of it and where more is needed. My intention is to write daily, but there are times when I'll be reduced to weekly summaries at best. You'll understand as you read.
