Kleinert Letter to BLM

jamesanaquadkleinert

Director, producer, and cinematographer James Anaquad Kleinert, who directed the documentary “Wild Horses & Renegades“, has filed a 20-page letter with the BLM for the scoping period regarding the round up scheduled for Jicarilla Wild Horse Territory in northwestern New Mexico. He believes it very well may stop the round up.

“The scoping letter in my opinion is very powerful in bringing forth critical issues and forcing the BLM to confront its illegal practices,” states Kleinert.

Expressing gratitude to attorney Diane Wolfson for her support with the letter, Kleinert asks wild horses advocates to join him by sending the letter to blm_nm_ffo_comments@blm.gov with a copy to JTafoya@blm.gov.

“This letter can also be used as a draft letter for future BLM proposed round ups,” he adds.

Habitat for Horses is a 501.c.3 nonprofit equine protection organization supported solely by donations. We have around 200 donkeys and horses under our care, plus one ornery, old mule. Most of them are here because law enforcement removed them from their previous owner. Our ability to rehabilitate and rehome them comes from the financial support of people like you. Please support us by making a donation for the horses we all serve. Click HERE to donate
