Jane Velez-Mitchell takes on saving America’s wild horse population

CNN Headline News Jane Velez-Mitchell took on Sally Jewel and the BLM on her show last night, November 25th, 2013. Its great to see a larger news outlet discussing the issue – especially the “land grab” by the US government that benefits the cattle and energy – particularly fracking – corporations at the expense of the wild horse and burros that have the right to protection, life and liberty. However some of the opinions and options presented in this piece on what is best for our nation’s wild horses should be seriously debated before we jump to any conclusions on how to move forward. ~ HfH Webmistress

The Bureau of Land Management announced another wild horse round-up along the Wyoming-Colorado border. Now, there are approximately 45,000 wild horses in holding pens. Critics believe the U.S. Government is in violation of the Wild Horse and Burro Act.
