Habitat for Horse’s featured adoptable horse came to us from Big Bend National Park where he spent his days doing double duty as a cow and trail horse. This black 8 year old gelding stands at 15.2 HH.

Very sweet and patient while being saddled and haltered. Diablo’s riding skills include:

Neck reins perfect.
– Trots when you request.
– Lopes perfect!
-Experience in heading and healing (Roping)!

This gelding is temporarily homed at Habitat for Horses, a non- profit 501(c)(3) organization. We do have an adoption process: Adoption Application, Property Inspection & Placement Agreement.

Habitat for Horses is a 501.c.3 nonprofit equine protection organization supported solely by donations. We have around 200 donkeys and horses under our care, plus one ornery, old mule. Most of them are here because law enforcement removed them from their previous owner. Our ability to rehabilitate and rehome them comes from the financial support of people like you. Please support us by making a donation for the horses we all serve. Click HERE to donate
