We could sit here all day, ranting and raving about a zillion problems. I admit, I often do just that, even when no one is around to listen to me, but then comes something beautiful and I’m transported into another world.

Like this one – Christine Erickson put this up on Mashable for the whole world to see.

The mare, named Becca, is pregnant with her sixth foal. The 10-year-old miniature horse has been on labor watch for about a week, thanks to The Pet Collective and Little Hooves. This is mostly for monitoring purposes, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be amazed by the miracle of life.

Watch close… it will happen any minute. CLICK HERE

Habitat for Horses is a 501.c.3 nonprofit equine protection organization supported solely by donations. As of today, we have 174 donkeys and horses under our care, plus one ornery, old mule. Most of them are here because law enforcement removed them from their previous owner. Our ability to rehabilitate and rehome them comes from the financial support of people like you. Please support us by making a donation for the horses we all serve. Click HERE to donate

Habitat for Horses is always on the lookout for a few great people at our ranches. The work is unique, the animals are special and we want folks who both know and understand the special connection our animals need.
