Bundy ranch standoff previews conflicts to come

Protesters close to Bundy Ranch

A few months ago, Cliven Bundy resisted the BLM and Feds to use the public land for cattle and not for other wild life – such as horses. Recently the right-wing pro-cattle militia types have been trying to distance themselves from Bundy. Their spin to the media has been to paint Bundy as a lone wolf type, all the while these cattle ranchers were getting deeper into the pockets of federal and state politicians so they can begin to strip the land away from the wild horses and other wild life. They are liars. Plain and simple. The article below and others coming out spell out how the militia on Bundy’s land was large and organized. The militia men had the BLM and other Federal Agents owtgunned with snipers set to start shooting if the BLM touched the cattle. Our government backed down and made a deal. Bundy would be turned into the crazy scapegoat, while the cattle ranchers set up getting legislation created to strip the land from the government. Meanwhile the numbers of anti-government organizations are growing like crazy. Guess who loses? The wild horses of the American West. ~ HfH

Protesters close to Bundy RanchThe standoff between federal agents and armed supporters of a Nevada rancher was a coordinated effort by far-right militia members, according to a new report by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

“The Bundy ranch standoff wasn’t a spontaneous response to Cliven Bundy’s predicament, but rather a well-organized, military-type action that reflects the potential for violence from a much larger and more dangerous movement,” said Mark Potok, senior fellow in the SPLC’s Intelligence Project.

The report, which was issued Thursday, found a Montana militia leader helped orchestrate the placement of snipers who trained rifles at federal agents attempting to round up Bundy’s cattle over unpaid grazing fees.

The snipers’ actions constituted a felony, the SLPC report argued, but federal authorities backed down.

According to the report, 30-year-old Ryan Payne, an electrician and former soldier, admitted to SPLC investigators that he and Bundy scouted public lands the rancher had been using to discover strategies to defend them, and they eventually placed snipers in position before the standoff came to a head.

Two of these organized militia folks later gunned down two Las Vegas police officers as the officers ate lunch. These people are obviously dangerous and must be stopped.

Taking arms against the United States Government is called treason, and punishable by death. These gunmen should all be dancing on the gallows…but I guess they could to afford to buy some politicians.
