Temperament: Standoffish and calm.  If pushed hard, she can explode. 

Physical problems / health issues: Companion only due to an old leg injury and possible back problem.  She is due for further evaluation shortly.

Interaction with horses: Gets along well in a large mixed herd.

Interaction with people: Can be approached and handled some days, other days she is not cooperative.  She will panic if a person makes a sudden movement so people have to move slowly and deliberately around her.  She acts as if a person has hurt her in the past. 

History: Xena came in with Calista in a case from Wharton, TX.  They were in the best shape of all horses from this case.

Training / abilities: None; companion only.
