Temperament: Tio is a great horse. He is very loving, gentle and sweet. He loves to eat peppermints out of the hand, but his favorite is to be brushed. He is very easy to catch (actually will just walk up to you) and will follow you anywhere. We have trimmed his feet and he does not mind at all. He does not mind his ears to be touched or cleaned, and will let you brush his tail. He loves attention, but loves to run with the other boys in the pasture. 

Physical problems / health issues: No health issues or problems.

Interaction with horses: He gets along with other horses just fine.

Interaction with people: Tio will let anyone rub on him.

History: Unsure of his history, but at sometime he was mistreated and unfed. It took time to put weight back on him and for us to calm him to the great horse he is inside.

Training / abilities: He has abilities to be trained, we have not tried to ride him, but he does not like the saddle.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? Yes. Reared? No. Kicked? Yes. Bitten? Yes, but not hard, it was more like a love bite. He likes to lick the hands. Other?  

Ground handling: Catch? Easy, loves to get attention. Lead? Very easy. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Yes. Clip? A little frightening for him, so we use scissors. Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Not yet.

Special needs: He has no special needs other than needing someone to love him, brush him and work with him.
