“These assessments are based on how these horses respond in their current environment and any change in their current environment, riders, diet, etc could have an effect on the horses' immediate performance. Horses need time to adjust when moved to new surroundings. We highly recommend you visit, spend time with the equines and evaluate the equine before making a decision"

Explain manners: Sunshine has some issues from being abused. She can have an alpha mare attitude sometimes with things like  tail swishing and body language. I might guess someone took a metal curry to her very harshly. She ties very well. She has been out on vacation in the pasture for a while but seemed to have good manners. I think she would be no problem for an experienced horse person who was prepared to be patient and gentle but at the same time firm when she tests you. She is a very attractive mare and a nice mover. With consistent handling I think she has the potential to be a fabulous horse!

Explain overall training:  We do not know if this mare is rideable at this time. I have put a saddle on her once and she stood perfectly still. I did start to teach her to lunge and she picked up on the verbal commands fairly quickly. So I definitely think she has been trained a bit. She may for all I know be a fabulous horse under saddle.

Explain history if known: Taken from her owners for abuse. She has most definitely been harshly treated. She is a very attractive mare and is a lovely mover.
