Temperament: Friendly and compliant but she is definitely a strong mare. In any herds pecking order

Physical problems / health issues: Right eye scarring with slight hint of fog. We believe she had an injury prior to arrival. She does still have site in this eye. She may or may not ever lose it.

Interaction with horses: She gets along with everyone. She especially likes youngsters and is motherly.

Interaction with people: She loves people. She loves grooming time and attention. It is easy to see a soft eye with her almost always.

History: Lena was seized with her colt due to sever starvation and neglect. Her foal at the time is Solovino on the website for adoption. They both rehabbed wonderfully and  are great horses.

Training / abilities: She has been ridden but not to the extent to have a reliable evaluation presently. She will need a moderate level rider until worked with to really see what she knows.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Moderate to experienced.

Has this horse ever: Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? Only at other horses. Bitten? No. Other? N/A

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Yes. Clip? Have not tried Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Yes.

Special needs: A good loving riding home that will take care of her like a queen.

Other comments: Lena is a wonderful horse. She has been the best in rehab as well as in foster care. If I did not have so many of my own I would keep her, work with her so she was the best riding girl and love her forever. I truly hope someone wonderful will see her as I do and take her home with them to forever happiness for both of them.
