Nora
Breed: Grade
Sex: Mare
DOB:
Height:
Color: Sorrel
Markings:
blaze, front coronet, 2 rear
stockings
Location:
Hitchcock, TX Adoption Fee:
$250
Temperament: Nora
is not too social a
horse. She would rather
be left alone.
Physical problems /
health issues:
Nora is still slightly
underweight but is
gaining pounds well.
Interaction with horses:
Once her foal was
relocated, Nora became a
follower of Fargo, a
horse who had assigned
himself to be the
protector of her foal.
She gets along in a
large mixed herd and is
in the middle of the
pack. She does not pick
on other horses nor do
they pick on her.
Interaction with people:
Nora is not a people
horse. She has
discovered treats and
this may be the key to
her training. She can
come around and be a
good horse if a person
has the patience to try
to get her to interact
rather than be so
standoffish.
History: Wharton
County seizure.
Training / abilities:
Has not been tested but
it is unlikely she has
had any training. She
needs to be started on
ground manners.

Other comments:
Nora has spent most of
her life without any
interaction with
humans. The right
person, with the desire
to work with Nora to
bring out her potential,
could work wonders with
her. She has no bad
habits; she just is
unfamiliar with humans
and needs love and
consistency.
