Temperament:  Montana is a very intelligent, good natured horse that has a wonderful heart and mind. She has never tried to bite, kick or rear towards people or other horses. She is eager to please but occasionally will show a stubborn side. 

Physical problems / health issues: None. She is a healthy happy girl.

Interaction with horses: No problems. She is not dominant or passive. She just likes being apart of the herd.

Interaction with people: Loves people!

History:  Not known.  However, it's clear she has not been worked with much at all before a recent stay at the trainer's in December of 07.

Training / abilities:   She needs help on her basics including ground work (steering, stopping, standing with a rider), standing quietly while waiting or being tacked up and standing for a farrier. She could possibly turn out to be a fantastic competition horse in any event.

Experience level required to work with this horse:  Experienced. A trainer might not be necessary if you have had experience with young horses. She needs patience and repetition to improve her ground skills.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? No. Bitten? No. Other?  

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Only with feed. Tie? Only for short periods. Trailer? Will follow another horse into a stock trailer. Clip? No. Trim Feet? No. Bathe? Not tried.

Special needs:  None.

Other comments:   Montana is a sweet girl that loves to please. She is much more beautiful than her pictures show with a personality to match.
