Temperament: Molly is a complete dream. A total babysitter type horse. She loves attention especially the kind she gets from children's hands. Anytime someone is in the barn she comes nickering with a need to know if she can have some of the attention too. When her foster mom rides another horse in the pasture Molly follows in line as if she is waiting her turn.

Physical problems / health issues: Molly is getting a little stiff in her hind end with her age.

Interaction with horses: Molly spent a great deal of time in a mixed herd at HFH's central ranch before entering her current foster home and did well. She was in the middle of the herd. She is not aggressive but still stands up for herself against her foster's pushy gelding.

Interaction with people: Molly is as friendly as they come. She loves her people and readily approaches when she sees you out in the pasture, as a matter of fact she will come across the pasture when she sees you at the barn. She loves to be petted and brushed. She interacts great with kids.

History: Molly was donated in lieu of a seizure. She was very underweight when she arrived.

Training / abilities: Molly is ridable but can be ridden only by a light rider and at a walk only due to her age. Her ideal job would be offering a lead-line rides to children. She is a little out of practice and will dance a little when cinching and toss her head when taking the bit. This is, however, improving each time she is tacked up as she gets back in the swing of things. Once tacked she's an old pro.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Molly is well suited for a beginner and even children on the ground. She is very mindful of your space and of children when they are in hers! In saddle she would be fit for a beginner to intermediate rider. See comments on training/abilities above.

Has this horse ever: Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? No. Bitten? No. Other? N/A

Ground handling: Catch? Yes, she comes to you. Lead? Yes, you don't even have to have a rope. She'll follow. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Yes. Clip? Yes. Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Yes.

Special needs: Senior feeding.
