Temperament: A sweetheart, still thinks he is a stud sometimes.

Physical problems / health issues: None known.

Interaction with horses: Loves the mares, and in particular, his lady Misty.  He does not love other boys.

Interaction with people: Very well behaved.

History: Marco was seized from a horrific environment along with 42 other animals.  He was in bad shape when we got him.  After seven months of rehab and being gelded, he was placed, separated for a time from his lady love Misty.  They were eventually reunited, but unforeseen circumstances have now sent Marco and his Misty back to HfH.

Training / abilities: He is a “riding” horse, although has been more a walking horse in his former situation.  He is being re-evaluated in his new foster home.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked?  Reared?  Kicked?  Bitten?  Other?  

Ground handling: Catch? Lead? Tie? Trailer? Clip? Trim Feet? Bathe?

Special needs: None, but Marco prefers pasture time above stall time.  He likes lots of Alfalfa cubes!

Other comments: The folks who had Marco, truly cared about him, but circumstances forced this current change.  Marco needs to find a home with room for two…and if you are thinking of one horse, think two: horses are herd animals and they need one another’s company.  In this case, they seem to have chosen each other.
