Temperament: Lady is a beautiful young mare, with a baby doll/dish head. She has great conformation.  She has not been handled much, but she is very calm.

Physical problems / health issues: None known, possibly pregnant, but probably not.  Lady has some issues with her feet.  Her hooves are split, and the farrier said it would take a long time for them to grow out and get better.  Because of this she should not be ridden, unless it is light riding by children.

Interaction with horses: Lady is with a herd of five other mares, who she has been with since being seized. She is very herd bound, but once she has been separated from her herd mates, and trust has been established, Lady has great potential.  She does just fine with other horses.

Interaction with people: Cautious, but with patience and time, she is doing much better at trusting people.

History: Seized by law enforcement.

Training / abilities: She can be ridden for a short while, as her feet begin to hurt and she limps.  She was ridden by my 2 small kids, but we have never had an adult on her.  She has had a saddle on her and does fine.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Advanced.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked?  Reared?  Kicked?  Bitten?  Other? She has never done these things in our care, she does get a bit testy when eating with other horses, but only because they try to eat her food!

Ground handling: Catch? With food Lead? Yes Tie? Yes, but she doesn’t like being tied up for too long. Trailer? Yes Clip?  Trim Feet? Yes Bathe? Yes, she likes it.
