Temperament: Jayla is friendly and curious.  She is a quiet, sweet girl. She is easy to bond with and has never been aggressive or mean in any way. I have never seen her pin her ears. She and Magic Boy run circles with each other each day as if exercising in a round pen. They love being out with the big horses in the herd, know the routine each day, know their stalls and greet me with a neigh each morning. She is a sweetie and would probably do well for someone who wants small horses but not quite a mini.

Physical problems / health issues: Jayla is a small girl for her age due to her life of starvation and malnutrition.

Interaction with horses: She has no problems with other horses other than that she is very small in comparison and gets run around a bit. She is good friends with Magic Boy, another small horse and my gelding Pal.

Interaction with people: She is always leery but curious and accepting of people, especially if they have a brush in their hand.

History: Jayla was seized with a group of 20+ other horses, all in various stages of malnutrition. She was with her mother who is no longer with us, but also a very small horse, so I expect Jayla to remain a tiny girl.

Training / abilities: Willing to learn. Smart on first experiences.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked?  Reared?  Kicked? No. Bitten?  Nipped at my arm for attention when she first came. She has not done this in some time.  Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes. Tie?  Trailer? Yes. Clip? Trim Feet? Learning to accept with each new trim.  Bathe?
