Temperament: Gentle, but hard to catch, has to be cornered. This is due to being mistreated at original home by abuse owner, he is afraid of being hit or beaten by humans. Once he realizes he is not going to be hurt he settles down.

Physical problems / health issues: Needs hoofs trimmed on regular basis.

Interaction with horses: Likes mares.

Interaction with people: Shy, once caught and haltered, very respectful. He will eat treat from you open palm, which seems to help build his trust.

History: Before he came to HFH he was used as a stud and ran with his band of mares and was unhandled by his former owner. He was gelded by HFH. At present he is in with three AQHA mares as a companion horse.

Training / abilities: Halter broken, can be used as a cart horse.

Trailer? Yes, he seems to enjoy it especially if he can see out and see what’s going by. Clip? Unknown, but it probably can be easily done, if needed. Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Yes.

Special needs: Needs to have his feet trimmed on a regular schedule, his hooves seem go fast and when they are to long has some difficulty walking.

Other comments: Very nice looking pony, stylish mover, likes to have mares around.
