Temperament: Charlene may have some trust issues and needs time to settle into her new foster home.

Physical problems / health issues: Has an old injury to a front hoof that is being assessed.

Interaction with horses:  Dominant mare type.

Interaction with people:

History: Donated when her owner could no longer properly care for her. Donor purchased her at auction, her history is largely unknown, but it does not appear as if she was broke as a youngster. She's also been used as a broodmare, she was donated with her most recent colt, Buckeye.

Training / abilities: Her donor reported that she was green broke in 2004 and then not really ridden. However, her foster home assessed her and she seems to need starting over completely.  They don't think she's ever had a saddle on her. Light riding only due to hold hoof injury to a front.
