Interaction with people: Somewhat reserved at first, but curious.  Builds trust through quiet, yet firm handling. 

History: Raced successfully in Puerto Rico and St Thomas , USVI

Training / abilities: Being ridden 5-6 days/week.  Ivan is a green horse.  Current training: working on suppleing at walk and trot on 20 meter circles and going straight.  He is improving every day and is willing.  Needs more time to develop canter at correct lead, etc. 

Experience level required to work with this horse: Experienced Intermediate.

Other comments: A rider who is aware of Ivan's habits and needs will be able to help him become an excellent partner.  He will trust someone who is patient, calm and consistent.  His training has only just begun, so he needs someone who has time and patience to develop his talents.  He was nervous during his first few rides on our farm, but he makes progress every day and we are proud of him.  Ivan is a beautiful, willing horse and deserves to be appreciated.
