Benny is a super
friendly and gentle old
man. He loves
attention, be is a
little protective of his
hind quarters.
Physical problems /
health issues:
None, Benny is in
amazing shape for his
age. He does tend to
eat way to fast and has
been known to choke so
his feed must be served
to him pre-soaked and
soupy with some large
rocks in a large feeding
dish. He eats hay and
grazes with no problem.
Interaction with horses:
Benny is in the lower
middle of the herd he is
in. He seems to always
be there but never
causes problems.
Interaction with people:
Benny is very friendly
and sociable and loves
to come and visit to
meet the new people at
the Ranch.
History:
Benny was donated in
lieu of a seizure.
Training / abilities:
Benny is very easy to
handle on the ground and
under saddle. He has
been known on one
occasion to kick out
while being handled on
the ground, but did not
connect. Under saddle
he is a very spunky old
man. He is extremely
well trained and with
regular riding would be
fantastic. His skills
are just a little rusty.
Due to his age he is
available for light
riding only which will
disappoint his as he
seems to have a great
time when he is being
ridden. He does not
seem to have been
trained for direct
reining only western or
neck reining. He has
been ridden by all the
Ranch staff.

horse with a great
attitude. He would be

occasional riding buddy

horse with some spunk
under saddle.
