BB
Breed: Paint
Sex: Mare
DOB: 2006
Height: 14.1
Color: Black and white
Markings: Star & snip
Location
: Bryan, TX
Adoption Fee: In Training

Temperament: BB is not mean but she is pushy and borders on almost aggressive at times.  She has backed up to people but has not kicked or bucked, just gave the impression that she wanted them to move.  This behavior has not happened recently.  She is excited when she is fed.

Physical problems / health issues: Currently has a minor injury to a fetlock but this should clear up and not be a problem.  No other physical problems or health issues.

Interaction with horses: BB is in a one acre pasture by herself but has a gelding pal right across the fence.  She is the youngest horse on the property and seems to like the other horses.

Interaction with people: BB probably has bullied people in the past and has gotten away with it.  She can learn manners but has not been taught to be polite.  BB loves to be groomed and stands fine for the attention.  She is not a children’s horse.  She is fine with dogs.

History: Came into HfH care from the Cash seizure.

Training / abilities: Can be haltered and behaves on a lead.  BB is easy to handle.  She has been lunged and has had a bareback pad on her back.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No Reared? No Kicked? No Bitten? No Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes Lead? Yes Tie? Yes Trailer? Yes Clip? Unknown Trim Feet? Yes Bathe? Unknown

Special needs: None.

Other comments:  BB has lovely markings and with proper handling, can be someone’s very attractive riding horse.  Her conformation does not lend itself to showing, but it will not prevent her from any riding activities once she is trained.
