Temperament: Audrey is still learning to trust. She has bonded with two people at her current foster home and will allow them to catch and groom her.

Interaction with horses: Audrey is low on the herd hierarchy.

Interaction with people: Very timid. She was most likely physically abused pretty badly.

History: Seized due to neglect and awarded to HfH.

Training / abilities: Audrey is learning to be caught! She probably had lots of training early in life, as once the halter is on, she leads just fine. 

Experience level required to work with this horse: Someone experienced with abuse cases would be most helpful. Slow and patient, with extreme kindness.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No Reared? No Kicked? Yes- it’s a fear response, but is getting much better! Bitten? No Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes, with a trusted handler. Lead? Yes, once caught  Tie?   Trailer?  Clip?  Trim Feet?  Bathe?

Special needs: TLC…quiet and gentle handler.

Other comments: Audrey trusts enough now that she approaches for cookies and is super sweet once she trusts you! With love and time, and she will make someone a lovely horse!
