Temperament: Ace is always happy, he loves to run and play in his pasture.

Physical problems / health issues: Ace entered the organization with an infection in his withers.  It was not brucellosis.  It's healed now, but there is some scar tissue build up evident.  Because of this, when he is saddled and pressure is applied to the area, he goes down.

Interaction with horses: Ace has been out with geldings only and has done just fine. He's not a push over and he's not dominant.  Very laid back for the most part.

Interaction with people:

History: He was donated in lieu of seizure.

Training / abilities: Ace was started in saddle training, but it was discovered that he will never be ridable.  The infection in his withers left scar tissue that presses on a nerve and causes him to go down.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate preferred, probably could be handled by an advanced beginner, but since a recent stud, we are unsure how he reacts in many situations with mares in heat.

Other comments: Very unusual coloring, show quality, great bloodlines, laid back attitude. His registered name is King Docs Ace  (has Doc Bar bloodlines, sire is King Doc Bar and dam is Solo Paloma).
